To all friends and donors:
The Vincentians in Madagascar wrote to thank us for our generous gifts in support of Marillac College in Fort Dauphin. Thanks to your kindness, they are on their way to installing Internet service throughout the campus so teachers can access more resources, and students can do research. The high school students seem particularly excited! Also, improved electrical service is coming too as solar panels are mounted on the roofs of several buildings.This sounds like real progress to me.
In addition, thanks to other fundraising efforts they have mounted, the school has a new kitchen and improved restroom facilities are being built.
The folks at the school have promised to send photos. We’ll make sure you get to see them.
