Contest Terms & Conditions

COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

Introduction
By participating in the competition, you agree to these terms and conditions. The competition is
being run by Vincentian International Mission Services (VIMS).

Eligibility to Enter
The competition is open to anyone from the Vincentian Family who registers to watch Monsieur
Vincent and is at least 21 years of age or older. VIMS Board Members, VIMS employees, and
their families are excluded from the drawing.
By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that you are eligible
to receive any prizes that may be awarded to you. You confirm that you are able to travel
Internationally specifically to France. You confirm you will be responsible for all travel visas or
passports for international travel as well as their associated costs. VIMS can provide an official
invitation letter for you and a guest if this is required by your country.
There is a limit of one entry per person and the competition is completely free to enter. More
than one person per household may enter by registering, so long as each is at least 21 years of
age and able to travel to France.

The Prize
The winning prize will be a trip to Paris, France. The prize package includes two round trip
coach airfares for you and a guest, local transportation while in Paris, and lodging at Maison
Mere, the Vincentian Motherhouse. You and your guest will be included as extras in a scene of
the new film based on the life of St. Vincent DePaul.
The dates for the trip will be determined by VIMS and be based on the film’s production
schedule. VIMS will provide at least 30 days’ notice of the date of travel.
The prize package is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be
provided.
VIMS reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its
control require doing so.
VIMS’s decision on any aspect of the competition is final and binding, and no correspondence
will be entered into about it.

Winner Announcement
The winner will be chosen at random and notified via the email address provided at the time of
registering to watch the classic Monsieur Vincent.
VIMS will make two attempts over two consecutive days to contact the winner via email. If a
winner fails to reply within 24 hours of the second message, VIMS will draw another name,
continuing until a winner is declared.

Publicity
The winner agrees that any personal information that you provide when entering the competition
will be used by VIMS for the purposes of administering the competition and for other purposes
specified in our Privacy Policy.
All entrants will be notified of the winner via email.
The winner agrees that VIMS may use their story regarding their trip, their reflections at the
Maison Mere, and their experience on the movie set. This will include interviews with several
people including: VIMS Executive Director and Director of Marketing, the film Producer and
Director and others involved with production of the film. The recording and taping of interviews
and any photos of the winner and guest during their stay in Paris will be at VIMS discretion and
become VIMS property. VIMS will gladly share these with the winner, should it be requested.
The winner and guest are free to take their own photos and videos of their stay in Paris.
The winner’s first name and country of residence will be announced on VIMS’s website as well
as other Catholic social media channels.

Limitation of Liability
VIMS accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointments suffered by entrants
as a result of participating in the competition or being selected the winner.

General
VIMS reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to cancel the competition or
amend these terms and conditions.
