To our VIMS friends and family. Please enjoy this story of hope from the latest FamVin blog.

Despite the difficulties caused by the war in our country, from July 10 to July 14, 2023, we held a VMY meeting in western Ukraine. The theme of the meeting was ‘Witnesses of Hope’ because this topic is crucial for Ukrainians today. The meeting was attended by 50 VMY members from different parts of Ukraine. All the participants spent time together in prayer, conferences, and working in groups. They shared their experiences of faith with each other. The central event of each day was the Holy Mass.

During these days, we sought answers to the questions: What do Service, Communication, and Witness mean to us? These three features are encompassed by the word ‘Hope,’ which holds significant strength among young people today. It is also noteworthy that young people are exceptionally talented and capable. Everyone was particularly pleased to experience this time offline, engaging in live communication.

The experience gained during this meeting will empower us to actively participate in the life of the Church and society, boldly testifying to our faith, serving others, and supporting them with kind words, prayer, and acts of mercy.
