Being a monthly donor draws me closer to brothers and sisters in other parts of the world. It’s not about charity. It’s about family. Every time I get on the internet, I think about the teachers in Madagascar who are now able to access the internet. When I drive past a school and see the children going in, I smile as I think about Marillac School in Madagascar. Dusting the furniture has become a prayer experience for me as I thank God for the men who can participate in DePaul Woodworking in Kenya. Reaching for a glass of water to quench my thirst reminds me of my siblings in Papua New Guinea, who now have access to a well. Being a monthly donor helps me to live Communion. My daily life is transformed by the connection.
